This week’s fundamental is “Create a Great Impression.”

Every conversation, phone call, email, letter, and voicemail sets a tone and creates an impression.

Pay attention to every interaction and be sure you are setting a tone that’s friendly, warm and helpful. 

We are all so busy with our day to day lives especially when navigating the COVID legislation updates that we sometimes forget to set a “Trusted like a Loyal Friend” tone.

Here are a few tips to help:

  • Smile before answering the phone.
  • When leaving a voicemail, make sure you provide all pertinent information.
  • Letters should be written in a professional manner.
  • Proofread your emails to ensure they sound warm and friendly.
